I rarely drink hard cider, but when I do it’s something I want to have a crisp, refreshing taste. Thanks to Woodchuck for sending me a few samples of their Winter Chill seasonal cider, I had the opportunity to give them a try.
For those of you in New York City, this past Sunday winter reminded us she hasn’t left yet. With temperatures in the 30s and winds whipping, I popped open a bottle of Woodchuck. In one word – ahh. This cider is aged in premium French and traditional American oak barrels and brings a rich depth of apple flavor with hints of vanilla and oak. It’s winter in a bottle and for the cider drinkers out there, I recommend you give Woodchuck a try.
