an incredible happy hour special and tremendous tasting food, this place is definitely going to be on my list of places to return.

The happy hour special is the highlight of this place. Daily, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. 8th Street Wine Cellar offers $5 glasses of house wine and, even better, $18 select bottles of wine. The $18 bottle deal is sure to peak anyone’ s interest.

Additionally, the food is great and reasonably priced. The one night I was there, we ordered:

  • Bruschette: Wild mushroom, caramelized onion, white truffle oil
  • Baked MacDougal n’ Cheese with Kielbasa

For two of us, with two bottles of wine and some plates to snack on, the bill only totaled around $30 each, including tip.

The Verdict

If you’re in the area, or even if you’re not in the area, 8th Street Wine Cellar is the place to go for happy hour. It’s happy hour special is an incredible deal. Additionally, the service is beyond good with our waitress making sure we were happy throughout the night and making sure our wine glasses were constantly filled. I highly recommend paying 8th Street Wine Cellar a visit, I know I will again.
